The Items view of the Supply Schedule can be very useful and provides a representation of the Purchase Order Supply Schedule listed by item. This view groups the same items together from all open Purchase Orders.

Another great representation of the Purchase Order Supply Schedule is the Purchase Orders view. This view is useful to see the specific details within an open Purchase Order. Click Purchasing/Supply Schedule to open the Supply Schedule and select Purchase Orders at the top right corner. All Open Purchase Order detail lines will list as Gantt bars in the time horizon.

Many MISys Manufacturing users are familiar with the Visual Production Schedule used for assembly replenishment, it provides a great view of open production orders at a glance. Like the Production Schedule, but seemingly less known is the Visual Supply Schedule that shows Purchased Item replenishment.

Running period end gives users, who have the security settings to do so, the ability to run an “unposted transactions” report. For those that would like to review these transactions without going through the period end process, the report is a standard MISys report within the report section.

All Master Files and many other tables can be displayed as a list in MISys. The list can then be searched, filtered, or grouped to quickly find information.
