Here we provide you some tips on training the new users for Acumatica Cloud ERP.
Whether your Acumatica was deployed as SaaS (Software as a Service or public cloud), hosted (private cloud) or on-premise, you need a sandbox for user training and testing.
A sandbox is a separate instance of your Acumatica environment. You can do anything you want in the sandbox without impacting your current deployment and users. A sandbox can be as simple as a local computer with SQL Server Express.
· From the Acumatica Customer Portal, you can download and deploy the same Acumatica build on the local computer.
· Create and export a snapshot of live data (System Management | Tenants | Create Snapshot).
· Restore snapshot in the sandbox (System Management | Tenants | Restore Snapshot).
· If you use Acumatica Wiki to share information (e.g. procedure manuals), they will come with the snapshot to facilitate training and consistent information sharing.
